Use the resource type filter in QuickSearch to limit your results to Books. Select Held by library to find print books available at the library. Select Available online to find electronic books that can be read online. You can use Interlibrary Loan to request print books from other libraries.

Access to Library Collections Members of the public who are 18 years of age or older are welcome to use our electronic resources on site in any Rutgers library. These resources may be limited to members of the public by equipment, staffing, or funding limitations.

Sign in with your NetID to place requests. To check items out at the library, use your Rutgers ID card. You can check out items up to one month in advance of starting classes or working at Rutgers. Bring a valid Rutgers ID card or proof of current registration to the information desk of any Rutgers library.

Rutgers alumni and senior auditors can register as guest borrowers. Guest borrowers may check out up to 25 books, for up to 6 weeks (unless requested by another patron).
