Sign in with your NetID to place requests. To check items out at the library, use your Rutgers ID card. You can check out items up to one month in advance of starting classes or working at Rutgers. Bring a valid Rutgers ID card or proof of current registration to the information desk of any Rutgers library.

Use the resource type filter in QuickSearch to limit your results to Books. Select Held by library to find print books available at the library. Select Available online to find electronic books that can be read online. You can use Interlibrary Loan to request print books from other libraries.

Rutgers University Libraries' collections are available to all individuals for use on site. Some materials are stored and need to be paged.

All Rutgers alumni have borrowing privileges and can make use of the library system's vast resources. Visiting a bricks-and-mortar Rutgers library gives you access to most indexes, databases, and journal collections.
